A Seat At The Table

I used to feel stings of rejection when I wasn’t invited to tables I thought I wanted to sit at. I would pray and asked God, why wasn’t I invited? Why was I being ignored? Why have me around, but not let me sit down? He said, “This is not your table and these are not your people.” He said, “I’m a good Father and I’m protecting you from people that will cause great damage to your heart and soul. I’ve kept you around to learn what not to do once I sit you at the tables I’ve chosen for you. You’ll know how to treat the people I’ve chosen for you sit with, and you’ll know how to serve the people at the head of the table with honor!” So...I thank God for blocking seats at certain tables and sitting me at tables, and with people He’s chosen for me. I’m so grateful that He knows me better than anyone and loves me that much!
